and he spoke that somethingbe given her to eat.
NOTE: This healing within a miracle often happens in the ministry of Jesus. He starts out to answer a request - but before He meets it, an interruption takes place, and another need is first met.
Notice that Jesus chose only three of His disciples to accompny Him with the parents for the resurrection of the twelve year old girl from the dead. Could it be that the other nine disciples were the ones questioning Jesus about the woman who touched him by faith, but Peter, James and John were more perspective, and sensed the faith in someone who touched Him? So Jesus brought these three and left out the other nine?
And see the synagogue-ruler and Jesus' response to his great sorrow and concern. Not all Jewish leaders were like the run-of-the-mill Pharisees and other Jewish rulers. Some had faith in Him. There is always a “remnant” in anysituation, who have true colors. Look at the seven churches of Revelation 2 & 3 that Jesus addressed. Two had very serious flaws. Yet - in all seven, there wereovercomers! Thank God! The synagogue-ruler in this portion of Scripture is an encouragement for us to remember the doctrine of the godly-remnant! J.A.W.
